What does permanent employment "within the framework of temporary employment" mean?

It means that you are permanently employed by Job Lounge GmbH and therefore have all legal claims arising from the employment relationship. This includes a fixed income according to the collective agreement, paid vacation, Christmas bonus or continued payment of wages in the event of illness.

However, you are not employed by Job Lounge GmbH, but work for our client company. This means that Job Lounge GmbH is your employer, which is why you receive your employment contract and your salary from us. However, you are employed as a worker at one of our clients.


What is the difference between job placement and temporary employment?

Is temporary employment also suitable for me if I am actually looking for permanent employment with a company?

In job placement or personnel placement, we suggest you to suitable companies and support you in getting a permanent position in a company. Job Lounge GmbH only acts as an intermediary, you conclude the employment contract with the company. Direct placement is uncomplicated and completely free of charge for you.

In temporary employment, Job Lounge GmbH is your employer, so you are employed by our client companies on our behalf. This is a temporary activity, so you change companies from time to time and collect numerous references. However, these assignments often lead to a permanent takeover into the respective client company. Therefore, temporary employment is also suitable for you if you are actually looking for permanent employment with an employer.


Which documents does the personnel service provider need for my application?

For an application with us, your contact details are the most important so that we can reach you by phone or e-mail and discuss the further procedure. You can enter these in a form in our application system or upload them in the form of your resume.


Who can I contact if I have questions about a job advertisement?

In the specific online job description, you will always find a contact person who you can contact if you have questions about the job or the application.


My desired position does not match me in all points, can I still apply?

You can also apply for the position if it is not 100% suitable. Together, we can discuss your goals and skills and see if we have a more suitable position to fill. You can of course also apply on your own initiative at any time.

Do I have a claim to vacation and continued payment of wages in the event of illness with employment in temporary employment?

You have all legal claims, including vacation according to the IGZ collective agreement.


Who is my employer in temporary employment?

You are permanently employed by Job Lounge GmbH. This means that you conclude your employment contract with us and also receive your salary from us.


Can I simply be dismissed if there is no suitable assignment for me?

No, in temporary employment, the legal period of notice and the legal protection against dismissal apply.

With whom am I employed if I accept a job through personnel placement?

You are employed by the company to which we place you. This means that you conclude the employment contract with the client company and then work exclusively for this company after the personnel placement.


What is the difference between personnel placement through a personnel service provider and a conventional application process?

The difference is made by the personnel service provider, i.e. us as Job Lounge GmbH. We act as an intermediary between applicants and client companies and advise both with regard to requirements and wishes.


What advantages do I have with personnel placement through Job Lounge?

Through personnel placement, you have access to job offers that are exclusively advertised with us, because some key positions are not openly communicated to the outside world. In addition, we are not only available to you as an intermediary, but also as a consultant. This gives you the opportunity to work out your skills together with us and to be advised on further training and career.


Who pays the commission for personnel placement?

The commission to us is paid by the client company that has commissioned us. There are no costs for you as an applicant.
